Client Operations Representative

About the role

As a member of the Operations Team at Viva.com, you will support merchant acquisition and business growth by identifying new merchant opportunities, guiding prospects through onboarding, and fostering long‑term relationships. You will act as the main liaison between merchants and internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new merchant opportunities through market research, referrals, digital channels, and other lead‑generation activities.
• Qualify and manage inbound and outbound business opportunities across multiple acquisition channels.
• Engage prospective merchants to understand their needs and guide them through the onboarding journey.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales team throughout the customer lifecycle to support merchant acquisition.
• Promote Viva.com’s products and services, seeking opportunities to increase product adoption and business growth.
• Maintain accurate client information in the CRM and internal systems.
• Monitor and analyze merchant account performance, identifying growth and retention opportunities.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure excellent service delivery and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Experience monitoring and analyzing account performance to drive growth.
• Strong interest in technology and willingness to become a payments subject‑matter expert.
• Ability to identify technical and commercial requirements and craft suitable solutions.
• Excellent presentation skills, especially over phone or video meetings.
• Collaborative mindset, able to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
