Cash Application Representative – Customer Financial Services

About the role

Join FedEx as a Cash Application Representative within the Customer Financial Services (CFS) team. You will be responsible for receiving, investigating, and applying cash payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting European strategic accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and investigate discrepancies in cash receipts, including missing, over‑ or under‑payments.
• Resolve and process unapplied cash in collaboration with CFS representatives and management.
• Escalate partial payments and communicate with customers to resolve short or over‑payments outside tolerance.
• Apply payments to customer invoices and handle credit‑note reconciliations.
• Provide feedback on policy enhancements to improve auto‑match ratios and the client journey.

Required profile

• Background in finance or related field is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and high customer orientation.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English within a business environment.
• Willingness to learn, propose improvements, and work with remote European teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (mandatory).
