Business Development Representative

About the role

Salsify is looking for an energetic Business Development Representative to join its Lisbon office. In this hybrid position you will be the first point of contact for prospects, creating awareness of Salsify’s CommerceXM platform and helping brands improve their digital‑shelf performance.

Key responsibilities

• Learn Salsify’s ROI, value proposition and customer stories to generate interest during cold outreach.
• Execute outbound prospecting, qualify leads and consistently meet or exceed monthly targets.
• Log all activities accurately in Salesforce CRM.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to shape territory strategy and build a high‑conversion pipeline.
• Follow up on marketing initiatives such as webinars and campaigns to nurture qualified contacts.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional experience, preferably in B2B software sales.
• Proven ability to engage prospects by phone, persuade and overcome objections.
• Strong communication skills and a results‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• Salesforce (CRM usage).
