Business Development Manager

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead donor acquisition and new‑business strategy across face‑to‑face, telemarketing and multi‑channel campaigns. The role ensures efficient, ethical growth of new supporters while exploring innovative acquisition models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual and monthly acquisition plans aligned with growth targets for F2F, telemarketing and multi‑channel campaigns.
• Lead a team of four acquisition specialists, optimizing channel mix to maximize ROI and long‑term donor value.
• Identify and evaluate new acquisition channels, partnerships and growth opportunities, building business cases for pilots.
• Manage acquisition budgets, monitor CPA, ROI and forecast volumes, ensuring vendor SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success and IT/Data teams to ensure seamless donor journeys and smooth onboarding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in fundraising, supporter acquisition or multi‑channel growth marketing.
• Strong strategic, data‑driven mindset with proven people‑management capabilities.
• Experience developing and scaling new acquisition channels or partnership pilots.
