Business Development Manager – Donor Acquisition

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead donor acquisition across face‑to‑face, telemarketing and multi‑channel campaigns. The role will design and execute strategies that grow new supporters while maintaining ethical standards and alignment with UNICEF’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual and monthly acquisition plans for F2F, telemarketing and multi‑channel campaigns.
• Lead a team of four acquisition specialists, optimizing channel mix for ROI and long‑term donor value.
• Identify and evaluate new acquisition channels, partnerships and innovative growth opportunities.
• Manage acquisition budgets, monitor CPA, ROI and forecast donor volumes.
• Ensure compliance with ethical fundraising standards and a high supporter experience.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success and IT/Data teams to ensure seamless donor journeys.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in fundraising, supporter acquisition or multi‑channel growth marketing.
• Additional training in fundraising strategy, growth marketing or performance management is a plus.
