Junior Speaker Producer

About the role

Web Summit’s Speaker team is looking for a Junior Speaker Producer to help acquire world‑class speakers for its global tech conferences. You will become a subject‑matter expert in a tech field, research potential speakers, and craft compelling pitches that convince them to join the stage.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep‑dive research on potential speakers, their work, recent announcements and impact.
• Draft high‑level outreach messages and identify the best channels to demonstrate value.
• Engage with speaker teams, prepare in‑person pitches when needed, and manage acquisition workflows.
• Maintain speaker data, ensuring visibility of progress and outcomes.
• Create detailed speaker dossiers to support VIP meetings.
• Meet and exceed targets for speaker acquisition and overall pipeline health.

• Proactive and open‑minded, able to spot gaps and act without waiting for direction.

Required skills

• Outstanding written communication and persuasive presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with AI tools and large language models (LLM) to automate research.
• Comfort using a variety of social and networking platforms to locate contacts.
• Strong curiosity and willingness to become an expert in a chosen tech domain.
