Business Analyst - Engineering & Manufacturing Engineering

About the role

Aerbus GBS in Coimbra or Lisbon is looking for a Specialist Business Analyst for Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering. You will complete complex tasks with limited supervision, lead project components and act as an informal resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and update KPI dashboards for Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, evaluate intermediate delivery plans and liaise with Finance data and actors
• Own the subcontracting process from PO tracking to goods receipt, alert stakeholders to risks of late deliveries and drive PRM milestones with SCMs in core countries
• Maintain workforce dashboards across domains and programmes, categorising internal, external and extended-make resources
• Identify complex business risks and opportunities and present structured insights to internal customers
• Support solutions to recurring problems and act as an operational interface with remote international stakeholders
• Drive local initiatives for the Airbus Portugal team, standardise processes and apply lean management and Six Sigma

Required profile

• Degree in Business Management, Finance, Engineering or equivalent experience in business analysis, data management or operational tracking
• Full professional proficiency with considerable experience in business analysis, data management or financial control
• Ability to work with limited supervision and to support less experienced colleagues
• Fluent English is required; French, German or Spanish is a plus
