Business Analyst - Engineering & Manufacturing Engineering

About the role

Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) in Lisbon is looking for a Specialist Business Analyst for Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering. You will complete complex tasks with limited supervision, lead project components and act as an informal resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues. The role sits within the Improvement & Performance Management job family.

Key responsibilities

• Support Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering functions by updating task data and, over time, managing KPI dashboards, evaluating intermediate delivery plans and liaising with Finance data and stakeholders.
• Support and eventually own subcontracting management from purchase order tracking to goods receipt, alerting stakeholders to risks of late deliveries, and coordinate PRM milestones with SCMs in core countries.
• Assist and progressively run workforce management by maintaining workload and workforce dashboards and executing resource updates.
• Identify complex business risks and opportunities beyond formal data status and present structured insights to internal customers.
• Work under the guidance of business management teams, solve recurring problems and act as an operational interface with remote international stakeholders.
• Drive local initiatives for the Airbus Portugal team, contribute to centralizing business management, standardize processes and apply lean management and Six Sigma.

Required profile

• Educational background in Business Management, Finance, Engineering or an equivalent track record in business analysis, data management or operational tracking.
• Early-career experience to full professional proficiency in business analysis, data management or financial control.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and autonomy.
• Fluent English is a must; French, German or Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Solid foundational knowledge of Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Looker Studio) and Microsoft Excel.
