Business Analyst - Engineering & Manufacturing Engineering

About the role

Airbus Portugal is looking for a Specialist Business Analyst in Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to join its GBS in Lisbon or Coimbra. You will complete complex tasks with limited supervision, lead project components and act as an informal resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Support Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering by managing KPI dashboards, evaluating intermediate delivery plans and liaising with Finance data and stakeholders
• Own the subcontracting process from purchase order tracking to goods receipt, alerting stakeholders to delivery risks, and drive Supplier Performance Review milestones with suppliers in core countries
• Maintain workforce and workload dashboards and execute resource updates
• Identify complex business risks and opportunities and present structured insights to internal customers
• Act as an operational interface with remote international stakeholders and contribute to the mission of the Local Team (Airbus Portugal)
• Standardise processes and apply lean management and Six Sigma methods

Required profile

• Education in Business Management, Finance, Engineering or an equivalent track record in business analysis, data management or operational tracking
• Early-career experience to full professional proficiency in business analysis, data management or financial control
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Fluent English is a must; French, German or Spanish is a plus

Required skills

• Solid Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Looker Studio) and Microsoft Excel
