Backend Java Developer (f/m/div.)

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join Bosch Service Solutions in Cacia, Aveiro. You will contribute to a multi-tenant connected-vehicle platform that serves fleet operators, workshops and leasing companies across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement robust data persistence with PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB for large time-series telemetry.
• Write clean, testable code and apply Test-Driven Development to ensure reliability.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle, from architecture design to deployment and monitoring.
• Integrate APIs and new features in collaboration with product owners, designers and frontend teams.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps and support fast, reliable releases.
• Conduct code reviews and share technical knowledge within the agile team.

Required profile

• University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in an agile environment.
