AWS DevOps Engineer – Distributed Cloud

About the role

As an AWS DevOps Engineer you will own and continuously improve Devoteam's core AWS infrastructure, ensuring it is automated, resilient and secure. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of cloud experts, developers and security specialists across EMEA.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain a secure, scalable, and robust infrastructure code base.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment cycles.
• Improve cloud logging and auditing capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Ensure security, backup reliability and real‑time monitoring of cloud services.
• Develop and test backup/recovery strategies.
• Contribute to the internal roadmap for cloud initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong experience with AWS services such as VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, Route53 and security features.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Hands‑on experience with configuration management (Ansible) and scripting (Bash or Python).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Git, Jira, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Understanding of web architectures and protocols (HTTP, SOAP, REST, JSON).
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
