Associate International Corporate Tax – Financial Services

About the role

Join a growing Tax and Accounting department in a brand‑new office in Porto, working with international clients across a range of sectors. You will be part of a partnership between PwC Portugal and PwC Luxembourg, providing tax and accounting services for operating and holding companies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage accounting and tax aspects of a portfolio of international clients.
• Advise clients on accounting and tax compliance considerations.
• Perform accounting, consolidation, due diligence, tax return preparation and annual accounts.
• Serve as the main contact for clients, improving relationships and developing business activities.
• Collaborate with the Accountancy and Tax Compliance Department and other firm teams to design and implement tailored client solutions.
• Handle a diverse client portfolio, including subsidiaries of international groups and local companies.
• Participate in a training and support programme tailored to your needs.

Required profile

• Final year of, or already hold, a Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting or Management (specialising in accounting or taxation).
• Motivated, quick to integrate into a team and interested in tax and accounting matters.
• Eager to work in young, fast‑paced, international teams.
• Strong people skills, analytical mindset, discipline and intellectual curiosity.
• Flexible, independent and able to adapt to sudden changes in working patterns.
• Proficient in English.
