Application Support with SQL – French Speaker

About the role

Dellent, a consulting firm specialized in information systems and telecommunications, is looking for an Application Support professional fluent in French to join its investment banking and financial services project in Portugal. The role will be based in Lisbon or Porto and operates in a hybrid model.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line and second‑line support for business applications used in investment banking and financial services.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
• Write, test and optimise SQL queries (SELECT, filters, JOIN) to extract and validate data.
• Assist with basic database administration tasks and support data‑oriented customers.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement fixes and improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT technical support, application support, or data‑oriented customer support.
• Fluent in English and French.

Required skills

• Strong command of SQL, including SELECT statements, filters and JOIN operations.
• Knowledge of database administration concepts.
