Application Specialist – Radiology Solutions

About the role

We are looking for an Application Specialist to support Sectra’s radiology solutions across Portugal, Spain and Saudi Arabia. The role combines technical expertise with customer‑focused service to ensure users derive maximum value from our medical imaging applications.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver web‑based and on‑site training sessions, equipping customers with the knowledge to use Sectra applications efficiently.
• Analyse customer workflows, propose improvements and tailor solutions to meet specific clinical needs.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Technical Support and Sales to provide application expertise and resolve issues.
• Develop and refine processes that enhance application efficiency and increase user satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in medical imaging, radiology or a related field, or a clinical background such as radiology nursing or radiography.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work on customer sites for periods up to two months.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) administration or application engineering.
• Knowledge of medical IT and usability principles.
