Telephone Triage Nurse

About the role

knok is looking for a Telephone Triage Nurse to assess patients' medical needs over the phone and guide them to the appropriate level of care. You will work within a digital‑first environment, supporting patients through clear, compassionate communication.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from patients with varying acuity and medical concerns.
• Identify care requirements, ask targeted questions, and determine the appropriate next steps.
• Provide empathetic support, resolve issues when possible, and document or escalate unresolved problems.
• Maintain accurate records of each interaction in the platform.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure continuity of care.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current, valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum two years of experience in triage (telephone or emergency department).
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to multitask under pressure.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
