Android Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Android Software Engineer to own the mobile client experience of our AI‑powered assistant. You will build and maintain a production‑grade Android application where AI interactions are central, ensuring performance, reliability, and a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship Android applications using Kotlin, integrating AI features such as chat, vision, and voice via backend APIs.
• Design UX patterns for streaming responses, retries, and partial results in AI‑heavy flows.
• Optimize memory usage, latency, and CPU consumption to keep the app responsive.
• Implement analytics, logging, and feedback mechanisms to support AI evaluation.
• Collaborate with backend and ML engineers on API contracts and system behavior.
• Maintain app stability, security, and scalability in production environments.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI services (LLM, vision, speech APIs).
• Strong grasp of asynchronous programming using Coroutines and Flow.
• Experience with REST or gRPC APIs and handling structured data.
• Proven debugging and performance profiling skills in latency‑sensitive environments.
• Published apps on Google Play Store.
