Android Engineer – Remote (Portugal)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Android Engineer to join our fully remote team in Portugal. You will work on cutting‑edge mobile applications, shaping the product roadmap and delivering high‑quality code that powers our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android libraries.
• Implement UI with Jetpack Compose and ensure smooth performance.
• Apply reactive programming with Coroutines or RxJava to handle asynchronous tasks.
• Define and enforce clean architecture patterns such as MVVM.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Write unit and UI tests to guarantee code reliability.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Hands‑on experience with Coroutines or RxJava and MVVM architecture.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote setting.
