Analytics Engineer Trainee

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Design and build data integration workflows using ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend or Microsoft SSIS.
• Transform raw data to meet the requirements of target systems or data warehouses.
• Load transformed data into data warehouses or other storage solutions for reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts to ensure integration solutions support reporting needs.
• Monitor and optimise data integration processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Less than 1 year of IT experience – this is a Celfocus Academy opportunity.
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, IT Systems, Computational Statistics, Data Analysis or a related field.

Required skills

• SQL, PL/SQL, T‑SQL.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, Teradata, Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with data‑warehousing technologies (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Oracle ODI, DataStage).
• Understanding of data‑modeling techniques (Star Schema, Data Vault).
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
