Analytics Engineer

About the role

Dashlane is looking for an Analytics Engineer to join its Data & Analytics team in Lisbon. You will act as a strategic partner, bridging deep technical modeling with business strategy to drive data‑driven decisions and measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test and own end‑to‑end data models in a dbt‑powered Unified Data Model, turning messy sources such as Salesforce into clean, single‑source‑of‑truth tables.
• Partner with Product, Go‑to‑Market and other business teams to move from reactive support to proactive, data‑driven insights that influence future outcomes.
• Promote a self‑service analytics culture by guiding stakeholders toward scalable solutions and reducing ad‑hoc dashboard requests.
• Implement AI data agents and automation for reporting and alerting, embedding an AI‑first mindset in the analytics workflow.
• Maintain data quality tests, governance best practices, and mentor junior engineers to raise the team’s technical bar.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in an Analytics Engineering or equivalent role.
• Expertise in SQL and dbt, with hands‑on experience delivering complex production data models.
• Strong business acumen in B2B SaaS, familiar with metrics such as ARR, NRR, churn and product‑led growth.
• Consultative stakeholder management skills, able to uncover true business needs and drive end‑to‑end initiatives.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and comfortable working autonomously in a high‑exposure environment.
