AML Analyst – Financial Crime Prevention

About the role

We are seeking an AML Analyst to join our Lisbon team, supporting the detection and prevention of financial crime in a fast‑moving, international environment. The role involves monitoring transactions, conducting KYC checks, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review financial transactions and customer activities for potential AML risks.
• Perform AML/KYC checks and customer due‑diligence procedures.
• Identify suspicious activities, document findings, and escalate risks as needed.
• Conduct investigations related to financial crime prevention and compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of AML investigations and support reporting activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve AML processes and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in AML, KYC, compliance, or financial crime prevention.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
