Aircraft Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Aircraft Design Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team and support the development of aerospace components. The role involves creating detailed 3D CAD models, ensuring compliance with certification requirements, and contributing to cost‑effective manufacturing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to product configuration rules and quality processes.
• Prepare project reports and certification documentation.
• Design and develop 3D CAD models for composite and metallic structures.
• Support testing and certification activities with accurate CAD data.
• Evaluate material, treatment, and production technique selections.
• Generate Bills of Materials for production and logistics.
• Identify issues, propose improvements, and apply lean principles to reduce costs.
• Provide planning, execution, and control information to the manager, including work estimates and risk alerts.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics or a related field.
• Experience with CAD software such as CATIA, Siemens NX or SolidWorks.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good knowledge of structural sizing analysis techniques.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
• Experience in component or product development and knowledge of materials and production techniques is a plus.
