Mechanical Engineer – Hybrid – Évora, Portugal

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Évora area, working in a hybrid regime. You will apply your expertise in finite element analysis and mechanical forming to develop practical process solutions for our industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform finite element simulations using tools such as Ansys, Simufact, Fluent or Maxwell.
• Interpret simulation results and translate them into actionable process improvements.
• Support mechanical forming and stamping operations, ensuring optimal product performance.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to develop and test new manufacturing concepts.
• Document findings and communicate technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience with finite element analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with simulation software (Ansys, Simufact, Fluent, Maxwell).
• Background in mechanical forming or stamping processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous R&D experience is a strong advantage.
