About the role
Scan Global Logistics is seeking an Air Freight Forwarder to join its operations team in Lisbon. You will play a key part in managing import shipments, ensuring smooth documentation flow and providing top‑level customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate import air shipments, preparing all required documentation.
- Prepare, control, and distribute documents to shippers, consignees and suppliers.
- Track shipment status, handle incidents and ensure resolutions that exceed customer expectations.
- Consolidate individual shipments and arrange timely pickup and delivery.
- Prepare price quotes and approve supplier invoices and shipping documents.
- Monitor compliance with defined KPIs and targets.
- Implement new customers, sales representatives, suppliers and procedural updates.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year experience in air operations.
- Previous experience in customer support or client service.
- Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in written and spoken English.
- Strong communication abilities and attention to detail.
