AI Solutions Engineer – Fashion (Porto)

About the role

Metyis AG is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to join its Data & Analytics team at the HUGO BOSS Digital Campus in Porto. You will work on cutting‑edge AI applications for the fashion industry, helping to build a data‑driven, tech‑enabled eCommerce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and continuously improve AI solutions from prototype to production.
• Collaborate with central and local data teams to create and maintain a context layer for AI, including knowledge graphs, ontologies and data lineage frameworks.
• Implement RAG pipeline architectures and apply advanced prompt, context, memory and harness engineering techniques.
• Translate business challenges into AI‑enabled use cases and workflows, identifying opportunities for intelligent automation.
• Stay updated on the latest AI research and integrate relevant advances into the platform.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of experience in AI or data‑focused engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, collaborative environments.

Required skills

• AI solution development and deployment.
• Knowledge graph and ontology engineering.
• Prompt engineering and RAG pipeline design.
• Familiarity with data governance, lineage and context layers.
