AI Data Engineer (French)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing AI and data‑science company in Lisbon and help shape data‑driven solutions. The AI Data Engineer will support model training, evaluation and simple deployment while building robust data pipelines for intelligent systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in AI/ML model training, evaluation and deployment using Python and related libraries.
• Develop and maintain data processing pipelines, working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate on AI solutions using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Transformers.
• Set up and manage cloud services on AWS (S3, SageMaker, Bedrock).
• Utilise DevOps/MLOps tools like GitLab, Docker and Airflow to streamline workflows.
• Support experiments with Generative AI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and reasoning patterns.
• Handle data ingestion via APIs and work with vector or graph databases where needed.
• Follow Agile methodologies for iterative delivery.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience or projects in AI/ML, data processing or software development.
• Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with SQL.
• Basic knowledge of AWS services (S3, SageMaker, Bedrock).
• Understanding of Agile practices.
