AI Architect (Hybrid, Lisbon)

About the role

AI Architects will re‑imagine how software is planned, built and operated in an AI‑native world. They will explore new engineering paradigms, define the company’s AI strategy and act as a bridge between business, technology and people.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build and optimise end‑to‑end AI pipelines, turning complex requirements into scalable, production‑ready solutions.
• Develop, fine‑tune and operationalise machine‑learning and deep‑learning models, ensuring high performance and seamless integration with client platforms.
• Implement robust CI/CD workflows for AI, automate training pipelines and manage monitoring, reporting, governance and lifecycle of AI systems (AIOps, MLOps).
• Continuously evaluate, benchmark and optimise AI models for efficiency, accuracy and real‑time performance in large‑scale environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data experts and product visionaries to deliver AI‑driven solutions aligned with strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software engineering, digital platforms and large‑scale technology delivery.
• Proven experience defining and executing AI or technology strategies in complex settings.
• Strong understanding of AI, machine‑learning, deep‑learning, generative AI and practical application of Large Language Models.
• Hands‑on experience with model monitoring, observability, MLOps tooling and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with public cloud platforms, especially AWS, and related AI/ML services (a plus).
