Agile / Azure DevOps Manager

About the role

We are a fast‑growing software and mobile‑game development studio seeking an experienced Agile / Azure DevOps Manager to drive agile practices, optimise development workflows and lead the effective use of Azure DevOps across multiple teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and drive Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban or hybrid) across several product and development teams.
• Own and optimise the Azure DevOps environment, including Boards, Pipelines, Repos and Test Plans.
• Manage sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives to ensure consistent delivery.
• Align development, QA and product teams around clear priorities, timelines and deliverables.
• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines, release processes and DevOps best practices.
• Monitor performance metrics such as velocity, lead time and cycle time and continuously improve processes.
• Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring transparency.
• Support workload balancing and scaling of teams across concurrent projects.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability.
• Leverage automation and AI‑driven tools to enhance reporting and productivity.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Agile project management, Scrum Master or DevOps management roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps (Backlogs, Boards, Pipelines, Repos, dashboards, reporting).
• Proven ability to manage multiple technical teams or projects simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD and release management.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams on best practices.
• Analytical, data‑driven mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English and based in Portugal.
