Accounting Controls & Audit Analyst

About the role

Inetum is seeking an Accounting Controls & Audit Analyst to strengthen financial governance across multiple regions. The role focuses on ensuring robust accounting controls, managing audit recommendations, and supporting risk management initiatives within a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships with regional finance teams and key stakeholders.
• Oversee the rollout and monitoring of the Group Accounting Control Plan.
• Review control frameworks, identify gaps, and report findings to senior management.
• Perform Level‑2 (LOD2) controls on central teams and ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Analyze accounting certifications, summarise issues, and define remediation plans.
• Track audit recommendations and operational risk incidents to ensure timely resolution.
• Lead and contribute to internal control committees and governance forums.

Required profile

• Experience in audit or internal control, preferably with a Big 4 firm or in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and core accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and reporting abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
