Accountant – Record to Report

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accountant to join our finance team and take ownership of the Record to Report process. You will work closely with local and global finance partners to ensure accurate month‑end and period‑end closing.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly general ledger activities, including posting manual journal entries, maintaining accounts, and processing accruals.
• Prepare and post recurring and non‑recurring journal entries with proper documentation.
• Perform asset accounting tasks such as creation, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and scrapping.
• Manage bank statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate period‑end and month‑end closing activities with finance teams worldwide.
• Complete balance‑sheet account reconciliations on time and accurately.
• Support external auditors by providing required financial data and documentation.
• Develop and improve desktop procedures and process documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a shared‑service environment.
• College degree in Business Administration or an equivalent accounting qualification.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional European language is a plus.
• Team‑player with a cooperative mindset and high accountability.
