Accountant – Ireland

About the role

Renvolt is establishing a standalone finance function for its Irish entity following a carve‑out from Voltalia. The Accountant will ensure accurate financial reporting, tax compliance and ERP support for Ireland, the group’s largest market.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with Irish GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries and intercompany validation.
• Maintain the general ledger, fixed‑asset register and perform bank reconciliations.
• Issue customer invoices, monitor accounts receivable and support external audits.
• Prepare and file VAT, Corporation Tax (CT1), RCT and other statutory returns via ROS; file annual returns with the CRO.
• Support the Finance Manager with transfer‑pricing documentation and liaise with other departments on accounting and tax matters.
• Act as the IFS ERP reference for the Irish accounting scope, identify system improvements and help transition to standalone finance processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics.
• 8‑10 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance and corporate finance.
• Strong knowledge of Irish tax systems (ROS) and ERP finance applications.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power BI and automated dashboard creation.
• Proficiency with IFS ERP (working knowledge) and Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations.
• Experience with consolidation and reporting tools, specifically OneStream.
• Familiarity with local tax portals (ROS, PT SNC, AT Portal).
