Accountant – Financial Reporting & Analysis

About the role

The Accountant will support financial analysis and ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records. This role involves month‑end close activities, reporting, and compliance with accounting standards within a global agri‑business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial analysis and reports of accounting sub‑ledgers.
• Book and manage accruals for all departments, analysing invoices versus accruals.
• Execute month‑end postings, including depreciation and foreign‑exchange revaluation.
• Coordinate with colleagues to ensure accurate data capture before month‑end.
• Classify costs by business unit and cost centre, meeting company reporting deadlines.
• Assist in budget preparation and perform actual‑versus‑budget analysis.
• Provide information for group reporting requirements and support annual financial statements and external audits.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation, and prepare ad‑hoc reports as requested.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or other BI tools.
• Strong English language skills.

Required skills

• SAP (including Concur, SAP MM, BPC) – preferred.
• Advanced Excel.
