Senior HR Manager

About the role

Emotion Mobility is seeking a Senior HR Manager to build and lead a unified HR function that supports rapid growth across Portugal, the Netherlands, India, and the UAE. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will act as a trusted partner on people decisions that shape the company’s future.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full HR function for a 150‑person organization across four countries, ensuring compliance with Portuguese, Dutch, Indian, and UAE labor laws.
• Design and manage multi‑market compensation, grading, payroll, and HR data governance in line with GDPR and local regulations.
• Develop and supervise local HR teams in Lisbon and India, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and international mobility.
• Partner with executive leadership on organizational design, headcount planning, and workforce strategy.

Required profile

• 5+ years progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years leading HR across multiple countries or regions.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese labor law; experience with Dutch, Indian, or UAE frameworks is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage compensation, payroll, and GDPR‑compliant data governance.
• Demonstrated success in managing and developing remote HR teams.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese; additional languages are advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
