People Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for a People Business Partner to act as a strategic HR ally for our market leaders, with a special focus on the Retail team. The role is fully remote, with occasional trips to Madrid for team collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end People partnership covering recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compensation & benefits liaison, performance management, employee engagement, career development and off‑boarding.
• Support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of People processes and contribute to global People projects.
• Advise on legal matters, manage disciplinary and grievance cases, and ensure managers are trained for investigations.
• Keep People policies up‑to‑date with employment legislation and coach leaders on HR topics such as employment law and recruitment.
• Maintain accurate personnel files, process annual performance and salary reviews, and assist with HR aspects of organizational change.
• Coordinate payroll, employee documentation, health & safety reporting, and compensation & benefits administration.
• Support the people budget and forecasting for the market.

Required profile

• Broad HR knowledge across multiple specialist areas (e.g., employer branding, recruitment, payroll).
• Proven experience in people administration, payroll processing and participation in HR projects.
• Strong planning, communication and organizational abilities.
• Result‑driven mindset with solid business understanding.
• University degree and excellent written/oral communication in English and Portuguese.
• Alignment with GANT values and key behaviours.
