Human Resources Specialist (Technology Sector)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our Lisbon team and work closely with the Global HR function. The role focuses on supporting technology and digital talent acquisition, performance management and employee relations within the Portuguese market.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and drive global HR policies, programs and initiatives in Portugal.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for technology and digital profiles, ensuring quality talent pipelines.
• Execute performance management and talent development frameworks, identifying high‑potential employees and coordinating upskilling and reskilling actions.
• Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing advice on people management, monitoring HR KPIs and delivering insights to improve employee experience.
• Support managers on employee‑relations matters, including conflict resolution, sensitive case handling and compliance with local labour legislation.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders and the Global HR team to align local practices with global standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR roles such as HR Specialist or HR Business Partner, preferably within the technology sector.
• Proven track record in talent acquisition and workforce planning for technology‑critical positions.
• Strong strategic mindset with ability to advise on organizational design, workforce planning and performance‑related decisions.
• In‑depth knowledge of performance management, talent assessment and employee development processes.
• Native Portuguese speaker with advanced Spanish (essential) and strong English communication skills.
