About the role

The Deli Associate works in a Walmart Supercenter, preparing fresh deli and bakery items, serving customers at the service counter, and keeping the sales floor stocked. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and friendly customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and slice deli meats, cheeses, and bakery products according to company standards.
• Serve customers at the counter, answer questions, and suggest items.
• Move incoming merchandise to the sales floor and ensure proper product placement.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow food‑safety protocols.
• Assist with inventory checks and restocking as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to work part‑time shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and communication skills.
• Commitment to follow food‑safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
