Business Technology Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Business Technology Associate to join Metyis’ Technology team in Porto. The role supports clients and internal stakeholders in translating business objectives into technology‑enabled solutions, driving digital transformation and delivering measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with clients and internal teams to understand business goals, operating models and technology challenges.
• Support business capability assessments, technology landscape reviews and digital transformation initiatives.
• Apply structured problem‑solving techniques to analyse business challenges and propose technology‑based recommendations.
• Assist in developing business cases, technology assessments and transformation road‑maps.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, Project Managers, Enterprise and Solution Architects to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Evaluate enterprise applications, digital platforms, cloud and AI technologies against functional requirements and long‑term value.
• Contribute to vendor evaluations, build‑versus‑buy analyses and technology option assessments.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in technology consulting, business analysis or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior business and e‑commerce leaders.

Required skills

• Understanding of enterprise applications, digital platforms, cloud and AI concepts.
