About the role

Travel4Experiences is looking for a passionate Tourism Specialist to design and coordinate unique, authentic, and sustainable travel experiences. Based in Vila Nova de Gaia, you will work closely with local communities and municipalities to create memorable journeys that showcase Portuguese history, culture, and traditions.

Key responsibilities

• Research and develop tailored itineraries that reflect authentic Portuguese heritage.
• Liaise with local partners, service providers, and community representatives to secure high‑quality experiences.
• Ensure all travel offerings meet sustainable tourism standards and eco‑friendly practices.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the client journey.
• Utilize digital tools and platforms to plan, coordinate, and monitor travel projects.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Portuguese history, culture, and traditions.
• Experience in travel planning and itinerary creation.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to research, identify, and establish partnerships with local communities.
• Proficiency in Portuguese, English, and French; additional languages are a plus.
• Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
