About the role

RateHawk is seeking a Strategic Revenue Manager to act as the bridge between commercial, finance and operational teams. The role focuses on analysing revenue and profitability, identifying gaps and driving corrective actions that translate into sustainable margin improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the Plan‑Fact review cycle across regions and commercial teams, pinpointing revenue, margin and profitability deviations.
  • Engage with Cluster Managers and Regional Directors to understand business context and build collaborative corrective action plans.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional discussions, drive execution follow‑through and maintain accountability until measurable outcomes are achieved.
  • Monitor Cost of Sales drivers and profitability performance, creating visibility frameworks and actionable reporting.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at margin improvement, operational efficiency and optimisation of partner economics.
  • Establish scalable governance processes for revenue and margin management and support budgeting, forecasting and strategic commercial initiatives.

Required profile

  • Fluent English with 3‑6+ years of experience in roles that combine commercial exposure, analytical rigor and operational ownership.
  • Proven experience working directly with senior commercial stakeholders and influencing decisions without formal authority.
  • Background in Revenue Operations, Commercial Finance, FP&A, Business Performance, Strategy & Operations or consulting with P&L exposure.
  • Strong understanding of profitability and performance metrics such as Gross Margin, Contribution Margin, Cost of Sales, CAC, LTV and P&L logic.
  • Demonstrated ability to build governance processes and drive margin‑focused initiatives.
