About the role
Our client, a pioneering biomaterials company, is looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to drive new business with fashion, footwear, automotive and other brands. You will be the front‑line contact, turning interest into qualified opportunities and supporting the company’s growth in sustainable material solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop sales opportunities with brands in fashion, footwear, accessories and related sectors.
- Handle inbound inquiries and conduct proactive outbound outreach to prospective partners.
- Lead customer meetings throughout the sales pipeline, from initial contact to commercial follow‑up.
- Present the company’s materials, capabilities and value proposition to prospects.
- Build relationships with product development, design and sustainability teams within target brands.
- Collaborate with the Chief Growth Officer to prioritize leads and refine outreach strategies.
- Coordinate sample hand‑offs and logistics with the Sales Coordinator.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to generate new leads.
- Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs and product requests.
- Maintain basic CRM updates and track sales activity.
Required profile
- 3–7 years of B2B sales, business development or brand partnership experience.
- Proven ability to generate and close new business opportunities.
- Experience selling to fashion, footwear, textiles, automotive or related industries is strongly preferred.
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, comfortable in an entrepreneurial startup environment.
- Ability to manage multiple sales conversations simultaneously.
Required skills
- Experience with CRM software; Hubspot is a plus.
