Procurement Manager

About the role

Powerdot is building a pan‑European network of electric‑vehicle chargers and needs a Procurement Manager to professionalise and scale its hardware procurement engine. You will be responsible for shaping how the company buys, who it partners with, and how it controls infrastructure costs while supporting rapid deployment across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a small team of two procurement specialists, aligning their targets with the overall hardware strategy.
• Own the end‑to‑end supply‑chain performance, ensuring hardware availability, optimal lead times and production schedules.
• Co‑lead high‑value negotiations with primary hardware manufacturers and conduct on‑site supplier audits across Europe.
• Prepare, manage and optimise a multi‑million‑euro annual hardware procurement budget.
• Drive a flagship innovation project focused on new energy‑storage and grid‑edge solutions, coordinating technical and operational teams.
• Develop and implement a total‑cost‑of‑ownership (TCO) strategy for hardware assets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hardware or equipment procurement, preferably in a fast‑growing technology environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills, with a track record of building high‑performing teams.
• Excellent negotiation abilities and comfort visiting suppliers across Europe.
• Solid financial acumen to manage large budgets and drive cost‑efficiency.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
