About the role

MoOngy is looking for a Java Fullstack Developer who is fluent in French and English to join its Financial Services team in Lisbon. The position follows a hybrid work model, allowing you to collaborate on‑site a few days a week while benefiting from remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain new and existing application features within Agile squads.
Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to define requirements and acceptance criteria.
Participate in Scrum ceremonies and ensure delivery meets Definition of Done and documentation standards.
Support code quality, automated testing, and continuous integration pipelines.

Required profile

Fluent in French and English (minimum B2 level).
Legally authorized to work in Portugal and currently residing in the country.
Experience with regulated environments such as banking or insurance is a plus.

Required skills

Java (versions 8, 17, 21), Spring Boot, REST APIs.
JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, Angular.
GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes.
Oracle, PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
JPA/Hibernate, SQL data modelling, BPMN/workflow systems.
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Nice‑to‑have: ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Kotlin, Python, system design, UML, DDD.
