IT Team Leader (French Speaker)

About the role

Natixis in Portugal is looking for an experienced and dynamic IT Team Leader who is fluent in French to join the BPCE Solutions Informatiques (BPCE‑SI) team. Reporting to the local manager, you will lead a specialized group responsible for the smooth operation, continuous improvement, and compliance of the Bancarisation et Epargne platform.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and develop a dedicated team, handling performance reviews, career conversations and training plans.
• Plan and manage team resources, including vacation and absence management.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding and talent acquisition activities.
• Monitor compliance with objectives, propose corrective actions and ensure service continuity for supported applications.
• Coordinate operational and technical tasks, allocate work and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Contribute operational expertise to improve business solutions and team know‑how.
• Support the manager in defining and implementing strategic actions aligned with Business Unit goals.
• Participate in projects focused on continuous improvement within the area of expertise.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading IT teams, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
• Fluent French communication skills.
• Proactive, results‑oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Ability to foster a collaborative, high‑performing team culture.
