HR Generalist – Talent & Recruitment Specialist

About the role

The HR Generalist will support the full employee lifecycle, ensure compliance with labour regulations, and help shape HR policies that foster a positive work environment. You will act as a key contact for both employees and management while driving talent acquisition and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruiting processes and develop local recruiting strategies.
• Create and publish job advertisements, including LinkedIn posts, and manage interview scheduling and first‑round interviews.
• Define sourcing strategies, build talent pipelines, and act as relationship manager for candidates, hiring managers and external providers.
• Prepare recruitment, onboarding and HR data for management reporting.
• Organise and attend networking, employer branding events and conferences in key recruitment regions.
• Support broader HR activities such as onboarding, benefits, learning & development, DEI and employer branding.
• Provide strategic support for operational HR functions, focusing on process optimisation and cultural improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social sciences, HR, management or a related field (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in HR or talent acquisition, preferably within an IT consultancy.
• Strong sourcing abilities and experience with LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Proven stakeholder‑management and advisory skills for senior management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Portuguese candidate market.
• Excellent communication, self‑initiative, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
