Bid Manager

About the role

The Bid Manager will lead and coordinate complex bid processes for Avincis, ensuring high‑quality, compliant proposals that support business development objectives. Reporting to the Commercial and Bid Operations Manager, the role blends strategic oversight with operational execution across the full bid lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end major bid processes from opportunity identification to final submission.
• Organise and manage all stages of the bid lifecycle, including planning, information gathering, internal reviews, and approvals.
• Collaborate with technical, financial, legal, and operational teams to produce consistent and complete proposals.
• Prepare, structure, and tailor bid documentation to meet client requirements and tender specifications.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, deadlines, and contractual obligations.
• Contribute to bid strategy definition and continuous improvement of bid processes.
• Monitor bid progress, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and support negotiation phases.
• Facilitate smooth transition from bid award to contract mobilisation.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience or training in bid, contract, or project management.
• Solid commercial, legal, and financial understanding.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet complex deadlines.
