Workshop Supervisor – Service Center

About the role

As a Workshop Supervisor at our Service Center in Porto, you will lead a team of service technicians, ensure health and safety compliance, and act as a brand ambassador delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day operations, resource planning and continuous improvement of processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise health and safety compliance across the centre, leading by example.
• Lead and develop a team of service technicians, conducting regular one‑to‑ones and coaching.
• Plan, allocate and distribute work based on skill level, capacity and resources.
• Monitor performance, quality and key metrics, reporting daily to management.
• Identify and remove workflow roadblocks, ensuring tools and training are available.
• Manage tooling inventory, cost controls and tool orders.
• Conduct daily team briefings outlining expectations and workload.
• Serve as the main point of contact for Front of House and warehouse, liaising with customers when needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales & Delivery and senior management.

Required profile

• Technical automotive background, preferably as a Service Technician with EV experience.
• Proven leadership ability and a track record of driving process improvements.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand and influence KPIs.
• Problem‑solving initiative and a calm, considered communication style.
• Flexibility to work day and evening shifts according to market needs.
• Digitally savvy, quick to adopt new technology and systems.
• Fluent in English; additional local languages a plus.
• Valid driving licence.
