Visual & UI Designer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Visual & UI Designer to support our software development, digital presence, and commercial communication. Based in Carcavelos, Portugal, you will work closely with engineers, project managers and commercial teams to create intuitive interfaces and impactful visual materials.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical manuals, datasheets, user guides and infographics that clearly communicate product features.
• Create visuals and layouts for commercial bids, tenders, proposals and customer presentations.
• Produce marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations and event visuals.
• Design, prototype and implement user‑friendly interfaces for software and system products.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure seamless integration of designs into working solutions.
• Conduct usability reviews, testing and refinements to improve product interfaces.
• Maintain and update the company website, ensuring functionality, clarity and brand consistency.
• Implement design and content improvements for accessibility and usability.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align website content with product launches and corporate communications.

Required profile

• Experience working in a technical or engineering environment.
• Knowledge of branding principles and corporate identity management.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance creativity and functionality.
• Willingness to work primarily on‑site in Carcavelos, with occasional remote flexibility.
