Trainee Buyer for IT Services (French Speaker)

About the role

As a Trainee Buyer in the Procurement and Performance – IT Services team, you will support BNP Paribas French entities by managing the purchase of consulting, IT services, equipment, and software. You will ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards while applying category sourcing strategies and contributing to savings targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist internal clients with purchasing requests, ensuring quality, cost‑effectiveness and timely processing.
• Coordinate Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and analyse supplier offers.
• Prepare application contracts, verifying compliance with regulations, BNP Paribas standards and framework agreements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Strong customer orientation and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail, organisational skills and a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
