Technical Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑level Technical Support Specialist to join KCS IT’s Lisbon office. The role involves providing Level 1‑2 desktop support for Windows and macOS environments, handling hardware and software incidents, and supporting mobile devices for banking and financial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑ and second‑line support for Windows, macOS, and related hardware, including troubleshooting, installation, and configuration.
• Manage incident and request tickets using the company’s service‑desk tools, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation.
• Support mobile platforms (iPhone, tablets, laptops) and assist with device provisioning and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with the Portugal and global support teams to address complex problems and support regional projects.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Experience in the banking or financial sector is preferred.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing support needs and occasional project work.

Required skills

• Desktop support Level 1 & 2 for Windows and macOS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common messaging applications.
• Experience with incident/request management tools.
• Mobile device support (iPhone, tablets, laptops).
• Knowledge of Microsoft OS build methodologies and related toolsets.
