Tax Compliance Manager

About the role

Driven Advisors seeks a Tax Compliance Manager to lead tax compliance engagements across diverse industries. The role involves planning, supervising, and reviewing complex federal and state tax returns while ensuring deadlines and client agreements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute tax compliance engagements in accordance with firm policy and client deadlines.
• Assign and supervise staff, providing coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance.
• Conduct primary and secondary reviews of corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and individual tax returns.
• Maintain client relationships, identify additional service opportunities, and support business development.
• Prepare client billings, assist with collections, and manage engagement budgets.
• Evaluate staff performance, facilitate professional development, and participate in recruitment activities.
• Research tax‑related matters for planning and consulting services.

Required profile

• BBA in Accounting and a current CPA license; a Master’s or Law degree in Taxation is a plus.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience as a senior tax accountant in a CPA firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. tax law and compliance requirements.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
