Software Engineer – .NET C# Development

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong .NET C# expertise to join our global TechOps team. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web and mobile applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams across several continents.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in all phases of application development, focusing on clean, secure code and debugging.
• Design, build, and maintain reusable APIs and backend services for web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, designers, front‑end developers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, optimise applications for scalability, security and speed.
• Implement security best practices and protect sensitive data.
• Develop and support automation tests and work with automation engineers for regression testing.
• Provide technical support to users and document operational procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of .NET C#, LINQ, MS SQL, Entity Framework and related technologies.
• Proficiency with Git version control and solid understanding of SOLID principles and clean‑code practices.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with web service protocols.
• Hands‑on experience debugging complex applications and using Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with SQL Server or NoSQL databases.
